Integration Solution Architect

Job Title: Integration Solution Architect (Confluent Kafka & Apache Flink)
Location: New York City, NY / New Jersey
Position Type: Remote
Duration: 9 Months

Notes:
(Candidate will be required to travel occasionally to the customer's headquarters in New York for workshops and review meetings.)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a strong resource with hands-on experience in Confluent Kafka and Apache Flink, along with expertise in the following areas:

Integration Solution Architect

• Architect end-to-end CDC Enterprise Bus Middleware APIM integration patterns.
• Design Kafka/Confluent-based event-driven architectures leveraging SMT, KSQLDB, and Flink.
• Define API contracts and APIM POST methods for product data ingestion.

Confluent API Engineer (Flink)

• Develop and manage Kafka producer/consumer configurations and topic administration.
• Implement CDC connectors (Debezium/SAP) for ERP source systems.
• Support schema design and Databricks Bronze layer ingestion pipelines.

Data Engineer (Kafka)

• Implement SMT and KSQLDB-based transformation rules on Kafka topics.
• Support mapping framework enhancements for AP/AR/OA object schema changes.
• Assist in Flink/Kafka Streams job development for in-flight data enrichment and processing.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka and Apache Flink is required.
