Senior DevSecOps Engineer

We are hiring a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to own the delivery pipeline for supply chain and logistics software built for a federal health customer. You will set how code moves from commit to production, build the security and quality gates into that path, and be the person teams come to when the pipeline is the bottleneck. This is the senior technical seat for delivery engineering on the program. This position is fully remote within the United States.

• Own the CI/CD architecture across a product line, from source control strategy through production deployment.
• Build security, quality and compliance gates into the pipeline so they run automatically rather than as a review step.
• Set infrastructure-as-code standards and review changes against them.
• Drive down build and deploy times, and remove the manual steps teams work around.
• Mentor engineers on pipeline ownership and raise the delivery bar across teams.

• Master's degree and 18+ years of software delivery, platform or DevSecOps engineering experience.
• Demonstrated ownership of CI/CD architecture for a system or product line.
• Hands-on infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation or equivalent) in production.
• Container orchestration experience with Kubernetes in a regulated environment.
• Experience embedding automated security scanning into a pipeline that gates releases.
• Hardening to STIG baselines and supporting security accreditation, including planning builds around accreditation timelines, scanning evidence and remediation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation (Public Trust).

• Experience on federal health IT programs.
• Cloud experience in government regions (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government).
• Experience implementing Zero Trust architecture principles in a federal environment.
• Supply chain, logistics or asset management systems experience.
• AWS, Azure or CNCF certification.
• Experience in SAFe at scale, including Program Increment planning.
• Familiarity with federal IT governance and approved-tooling processes.

$153,000 - $176,000 a year

The posted range is base annual salary, placement within the range depends on qualifications, relevant experience, and contract requirements.
