Role: Oracle DBA

Location:  Detroit, MI / Hybrid

Duration: 6+ Months (Possible Extension) 

Job Description:

• Department: Database Engineering
• Database Administration support for Operational Performance Metrics system and Payment Integrity Applications.

Required Skills/Experience 

• At least five plus years’ experience supporting the development of applications on distributed platforms such as Oracle database in AWS Cloud Technology.
• Experience in Clusters, Cluster databases, Mirroring, Snapshot.
• Significant experience in identifying and resolving database performance issues.
• Deep understanding of database administration (Oracle, MongoDB, MS SQL, PostgreSQL and Sybase)
• Experience with install, configuration and upgrading.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with application/solution incident response SME
• This individual must be able to troubleshoot under difficult circumstances and maintain a good rapport with agency staff at all levels.
