Job Description

Clinical Data Integration Lead

Location: NJ/NY preferred – Hybrid, 3–4 days/month onsite
Duration: Contract-to-Hire (C2H)

Required Skills

·       Healthcare Interoperability: FHIR R4/R5, HL7 v2, C-CDA/CCDA, ADT, USCDI, SMART on FHIR, TEFCA

·       Clinical Data: Patient, Provider/Practitioner, Encounter, Claims, Conditions, Observations/Labs, Medications, Procedures, Allergies, Care Plans

·       Healthcare Terminologies: SNOMED CT, LOINC, RxNorm, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS

·       Integration: REST APIs, API Management, JSON, XML, Kafka/Event Streaming, ETL/ELT

·       Data Platforms: Databricks, Snowflake, Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform, Data Lakes, Clinical Data Repositories

·       Strong experience with clinical data integration, FHIR/API architecture, data mapping, transformation, normalization, validation, and data quality

·       Experience integrating payers, providers, EHRs, HIEs, laboratories, pharmacies, and healthcare systems

·       Knowledge of clinical data models, FHIR resources/profiles, implementation guides, API specifications, data lineage, provenance, security, consent, and audit

Preferred Skills

·       Experience with Microsoft Fabric or equivalent cloud data platforms

·       Experience with real-time and batch clinical data exchange

·       Experience building FHIR APIs, Bulk FHIR/data exchange, and event-driven integrations

·       Strong experience with terminology mapping and semantic interoperability

·       Experience with clinical data repositories and enterprise clinical data exchange platforms

·       Payer/provider interoperability experience is highly preferred

·       Experience leading architecture, technical design, and data engineering teams
