Key Account Manager
Portsmouth
Permanent, full-time

Drive and develop new and existing business for Yellowstone through relationships with a wide range of customers and suppliers.

More about the role:

  • Develop and accomplish strategic marketing/sales/revenue objectives, strategies, tactics and plans for B2B.
  • Working to fully support our existing clients.
  • Responding promptly to customer interest/enquiries generated to maintain momentum, leading to closure.
  • Regular and open communication with the wider team regarding progress on objectives, quotation follow ups.
  • Identifying and establishing new business.
  • To assist in managing growth and retain existing accounts and uncover opportunities.
  • Work to ensure sales targets are achieved.
  • Execute the actions of sales using CRM and ERP tools.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in sales to build and maintain client accounts.
  • Ensuring our clients are fully informed
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records that are readily visible to the team.

About you:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the UK waste management sector, ideally mainly in hazardous waste within commercial roles.
  • Experience of managing a range of customers from blue-chip to SMEs
  • Knowledge of hazardous waste treatment and disposal practices, transport of hazardous wastes and the legislative framework around waste collection, treatment and disposal.
