At Raspberry Pi, we are proud to foster an environment where those who work with us can do what they love and do it well. By joining Raspberry Pi, you’ll be adding to a lean and passionate team dedicated to democratising technology and providing affordable access to computing tools to people across the globe.

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our supply chain team. The successful candidate will report to the Warehouse Manager.

This position is based on site at our warehouse in Bristol and is full time.

About Raspberry Pi

Founded as a charity in 2008 and selling its first computer in 2012, Raspberry Pi today comprises two separate organisations operating in two locations:

  • At Raspberry Pi Ltd, we build best-selling computers, microcontrollers, and supporting software for industrial and embedded customers as well as home users worldwide
  • The Raspberry Pi Foundation is a charity dedicated to enabling all young people to realise their potential through computing

Key responsibilities

We are looking for someone to perform the following tasks:

•        Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately using the Warehouse Management System (WMS), and ensuring service delivery standards are met consistently

·       Receiving inbound deliveries, checking goods against paperwork, recording discrepancies or damage, and booking stock onto the WMS

·       Putting stock away promptly in the correct locations

·       Keeping aisles, racks, and bays clear and well organised

·       Assembling kits by picking the correct items and putting them into the correct packaging, following the correct procedures

·       Operating forklift trucks (if licensed) to load and unload vehicles, move pallets, and put away or retrieve stock at height

·       Carrying out daily, pre-use forklift checks, recording the results, and reporting any faults or damage to the warehouse management team immediately

·       Preparing outbound shipments, including palletising, shrink-wrapping, and labelling, and loading carrier vehicles safely and on time

·       Taking part in cycle counts and stock checks, flagging any inaccuracies to support stock integrity

·       Following health and safety rules at all times and reporting hazards, near misses, and incidents to help maintain a zero-incident environment

·       Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy and supporting good housekeeping standards across the site

Requirements and skills

Raspberry Pi values pragmatic, independent thinkers who are comfortable engaging with external customers and partners, as well as internal stakeholders at all levels of seniority. We operate in a highly collaborative work environment, and the successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment is preferred, but full training will be provided. Valid forklift (FLT) certification (articulated/Bendi FLT) is preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate.

Candidates should also:

•        Be a reliable team player who is happy to support colleagues and adapt to changing priorities

•        Have clear communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and report issues to supervisors

•        Be comfortable using handheld scanners and a Warehouse Management System

•        Possess basic IT skills

•        Be able to carry out manual handling tasks and work on their feet for extended periods

We also offer the following benefits:

●      Employer pension contributions of 8% if the employee contributes 4% of their gross salary into the company salary sacrifice pension plan

●      Life assurance of 4× base salary

●      Income protection of 75% of base salary in the event of critical illness, commencing after 13 weeks of long-term illness or absence from work

●      Private medical insurance (medical history disregarded)

Please note, this role will start in January 2027.
