Supply Chain Planner

We are seeking a Buyer Planner with previous purchasing and ERP/MRP experience to support purchasing, forecasting, and inventory needs while ensuring production has the necessary supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner. This role will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager, as well as production, accounting, sales, and engineering teams, to maintain an efficient flow of materials and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Issue and manage purchase orders through ERP systems, tracking and expediting orders while keeping information current.
• Analyze MRP signals, forecasts, and SKU-level inventory needs to maintain appropriate reorder points and support production requirements.
• Select and negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing, service, and timely delivery while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Work closely with production and the Supply Chain Manager to resolve material shortages and maintain a consistent flow of materials.
• Support SIOP, inventory planning, freight coordination, and other analytical/clerical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have 3-5 years of experience working with ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
• Must be self-directed and results-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment while working effectively as part of a team.
• Must have continuous-improvement mindset with a willingness to learn, adapt to change, and identify opportunities to improve processes.
