Data Scientist, Senior with Security Clearance

Overview Streamline Defense is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support the Defense Intelligence Agency at DIA Headquarters, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, DC. This is an immediate-fill position on an active program applying data science, analytics, and AI/ML to high-priority intelligence missions. Responsibilities

• Retrieve, merge, and analyze structured and unstructured data from APIs and databases using Python, R, and SQL
• Design, build, and administer databases in DBMS environments such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL
• Apply data analytics, data mining, statistical analysis, and AI/ML techniques to mission problem sets
• Develop repeatable data pipelines and analytic workflows in support of intelligence production
• Collaborate with analysts and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into data-driven solutions
• Communicate analytic findings to technical and non-technical audiences Requirements
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph
• 3+ years of experience with major data science languages, such as Python and R
• 3+ years of experience retrieving, merging, and analyzing structured and unstructured data sources from APIs and databases through Python, R, and/or SQL
• Experience with database design and administration in DBMS such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Experience with data analytics, data mining, statistical analysis, or AI/ML
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or 12+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree Desired Qualifications
• Experience with data visualization software, such as Tableau and Power BI
• Experience conducting data architecture and ETL for the DoW or a federal agency
• Familiarity with HUMINT
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and technologies, including git, Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.
