OVERVIEW

Morning Brew is looking for a creator to work with our Brew Markets franchise. We’re looking for someone who’s deeply comfortable as a storyteller across audio and video. You’d be hosting a daily video podcast and appear in social content covering the latest market news. A deep enthusiasm for markets and finance is essential – we’re looking for talent that can break down complex financial topics and dig into the latest headlines to help our audience understand what it means for them.

The Markets Creator will work closely with our production and social teams to bring Brew Markets to life across social and podcast feeds. We’re looking for a team player who can work collaboratively, contribute creative ideas, and build a relationship with our smart, engaged audience. This work includes appearing in branded content, and working closely with our producers and revenue teams to create content that aligns with both our editorial tone and client priorities.

Morning Brew Inc. has a strong team behind this show, and the goal is to make it one of the biggest markets news podcasts out there. As creator and host of Brew Markets, you'd be the face of the franchise. You'll help decide what stories matter most to our audience, shape segment ideas, and build a loyal, growing audience over time.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Host recurring video and audio segments on markets; earnings reactions, Fed days, "what actually happened" explainers

  • Write your own scripts. Turn a rate decision or an earnings call into something worth watching, in the Brew voice.

  • Build a recognizable on-air presence, creating content that connects with audiences across digital platforms.

  • Show up for live tapings, audience Q&As and Morning Brew Inc. events as the face of market coverage.

  • Work with editorial, social and revenue teams to deliver branded segments that still sound like the Brew.

  • Dive deep in performance with audience and insights teams. Care deeply about audience affinity and what moves the needle for our markets content.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 3–5+ years  creating markets content, that could include on-camera or on-air content, writing, hosting, or reporting, ideally in the markets/business/finance space

  • Deep enthusiasm for markets and business news; you follow the market for fun and it shows when you talk about it

  • A portfolio that proves you can hold attention

  • Strong interview skills & ability to adapt quickly – you’re just as good off-script as on it

  • Self-starter mindset – ability to work collaboratively while maintaining ownership over your work and deliverables

  • Able to work from Morning Brew's New York office 4 days a week.

BONUS POINTS

  • Experience building an audience from scratch, not just fronting one someone else grew

  • Audio hosting experience

  • Formal finance background or credentials (econ/finance degree, CFP, etc.)

COMPENSATION $100,000 DOE *Final offers for this job will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided, commensurate with experience. Total offer package to include benefits highlighted under our perks section below.
