Software Engineer with Security Clearance

Overview BigBear.ai is seeking a Software Engineer for a fast-paced, mission-focused team. You will design, develop, and integrate solutions enabling a high-priority operations customer. Working closely with Analysts, Operators, and other Software Engineers, you will integrate AI/ML technologies and develop rapid prototypes supporting the mission. What you will do * Elicit requirements from stakeholders and determine the applicability of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions * Develop automated analysis and triage across various collection techniques * Integrate capabilities into existing platforms and SDKs * Build scripts and user interfaces to convert and normalize data * Automate tasking and collection by extending the existing platform with new tools or technologies What you need to have * 3+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline + 2+ years of experience * Clearance: TS/SCI w/P oly * Production-grade software development experience in Python or JavaScript * Experience with machine learning and AI tooling platforms * Service containerization and deployment with Docker/Kubernetes * Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines * Experience deploying and managing production services in fast-paced environments * Familiarity with Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence) What we'd like you to have * Experience developing with agentic AI tooling (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) * Experience with additional programming languages (Java, C) * Experience prototyping web applications with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue) * Ability to analyze cybersecurity-related datasets (Network Traffic, OS events) * Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems * Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations About BigBear.ai BigBear.ai is a leading provider of AI-powered decision intelligence solutions for national security, supply chain management, and digital identity.
