Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced .NET Backend API Developer to join a high-impact enterprise technology initiative focused on backend API development and system integrations.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing scalable REST APIs using .NET, designing integration solutions, and evaluating infrastructure requirements for API gateway environments. This is primarily a greenfield development opportunity, with approximately 90% of the work focused on new development and 10% supporting and enhancing existing applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using .NET.

• Develop scalable and secure RESTful APIs for enterprise integrations.

• Contribute to integration architecture and technical solution design.

• Evaluate infrastructure and technical requirements for API gateway environments.

• Participate in approximately 90% greenfield development and 10% enhancement/support of existing applications.

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.

• Work effectively in environments with evolving requirements and incomplete documentation.

• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

• Follow software development best practices, coding standards, and enterprise architecture guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience in .NET development.

• Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs.

• Solid understanding of API integration and integration architecture.

• Experience evaluating infrastructure requirements for API gateway environments.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical challenges.

• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with limited or evolving documentation.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Persistence and ability to drive issues through to resolution.
