This employer is a leading North American supplier of surfaces products, known for its extensive product line and significant industry presence. They are seeking a driven Sales Representative to expand sales and margins within their hardscaping product lines across an assigned territory.

The Role

• Drive sales and margin growth for hardscaping products within an assigned geographic territory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, including retailers and dealers.
• Provide product knowledge and training to retail personnel to enhance customer negotiations.
• Manage product displays, samples, and sales tools to ensure customer accessibility.
• Analyze sales reports and market trends to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
• Prepare quotes, discuss credit terms, and finalize sales contracts.

What You'll Need

• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 90% locally, with occasional overnight trips.
• Previous sales experience is beneficial, with industry experience being a plus.
• Strong mathematical skills with the ability to calculate discounts, commissions, percentages, area, and volume.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivation, results-driven attitude, and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
