Senior Machine Learning Engineer

BP Energy seeks a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, and deploy ML solutions that optimize trading, asset performance, and low carbon initiatives across our global energy portfolio. Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy machine learning models for trading, asset performance, and low carbon initiatives
• Own end to end ML lifecycle from data exploration and prototyping through production deployment
• Implement MLOps best practices including CI/CD, model monitoring, and automated retraining
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to define and deliver ML solutions
• Optimize model performance, scalability, and reliability in cloud and distributed environments
• Ensure data quality, model governance, and compliance with security and safety standards
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and prioritize ML feature development
• Mentor and support junior engineers on ML engineering and software best practices
