Hotel Overview:
Located in the heart of downtown Fairmont New Orleans will be an impressive new addition to Fairmont’s luxury portfolio, offering 250 luxury guest rooms, four food & drink venues, a rooftop pool with expansive views of the city, more than 19,000 square feet of function space, and a 10,000 square-foot spa.
This property is destined to become an illustrious destination in the Central Business District, nearby the city’s renowned and historic French Quarter.
- Welcome guests warmly and professionally while creating a calm, inviting, and luxury-oriented atmosphere
- Schedule spa treatments, fitness appointments, wellness services, and facility reservations accurately and efficiently
- Provide detailed information regarding spa services, fitness offerings, retail products, promotions, and hotel amenities
- Process guest check-ins, payments, retail transactions, and appointment confirmations accurately
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards within reception, retail, lounge, and fitness areas
- Coordinate guest requests and communicate effectively with Spa Therapists, Fitness Attendants, and operational teams
- Monitor appointment schedules and support efficient guest flow throughout the spa and fitness facilities
- Assist with retail merchandising, inventory support, and product presentation as assigned
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism regarding guest information and wellness services
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, concerns, and service recovery opportunities
- Support spa events, wellness programs, VIP experiences, and promotional initiatives as assigned
- Follow all hotel policies, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety standards
- Uphold luxury hospitality standards through professionalism, appearance, and exceptional guest engagement
- Previous spa, wellness, hospitality, Front Desk, retail, or guest service experience preferred
- Luxury hotel or spa experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and customer service abilities
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in a fast-paced guest-facing environment
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with scheduling or POS systems preferred
- Professional appearance and polished demeanor required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with guest information
- Ability to work flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as operationally required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
