Job#: 3056522
Job Description:
Product Owner
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Role Overview
This organization is seeking an experienced Product Owner to support a major enterprise-wide redesign of its customer-facing digital experience. The professional in this role will serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, gathering business requirements and translating those needs into detailed technical requirements. Operating in a fast-paced environment with an aggressive delivery timeline, the successful candidate must ramp quickly, work independently, and produce high-quality requirements for development teams to execute. The position involves direct collaboration with front-end, middleware, and back-end development teams to consolidate multiple product portfolios into a unified digital experience across web and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Experience: Five to seven plus years of Product Owner, Product Management, or closely related experience. Proven experience working directly with software development, technology teams, and supporting products across the full technology stack, including front-end, middleware, and back-end teams.
Technical Skills: Strong experience gathering and documenting complex business requirements, translating business requirements into technical requirements, and supporting customer-facing web and mobile applications. Strong stakeholder management, presentation, communication, and documentation skills are required.
Preferred Qualifications
This role operates within a requirements-driven and structured environment, where Product Owners are responsible for delivering comprehensive requirements packages to IT teams before development begins. The professional should be comfortable with limited traditional Scrum ceremonies, less emphasis on sprint planning, and a heavy emphasis on upfront requirements quality and completeness. The delivery schedule is accelerated to meet tight deadlines.
