We’re Hiring: Security Escort (Relief)

📍 Location: Bracknell, RG12 (with travel to Reading, Swindon, Didcot)
💰 Pay: £18.00 per hour
📅 Hours: 48 hours per week (over 4 days) - working day shift (core hours of work between 07:00 and 19:00)

Our Security Escorts are hired on a Fixed Term contract for 6 months, with a possibility to extend the contract further. Please do not apply if a 6-month contract is not suitable for you.

As a skilled Security Escort (Relief) - Take your career to the next level with one of our most prestigious global clients.

Working as a Security Escort your priority is to ensure effective escorting happens throughout the secure sites, whilst providing a consistent high-end, accurate and discreet security focused hosting experience. 

For this role you may be needed to cover the M4 corridor, travel will be required so a Driving Licence with access to own vehicle is essential 🚗 🚗 🚗 (some fuel expenses may be covered).

Sites to be covered are Bracknell (RG12), Reading (RG1), Swindon (SN5), Didcot (OX14) so you will need to live within a commutable distance (up to 1 hour).

🚨Here’s what you’ll do:

• Provide a professional and friendly welcome to visitors, staff, and contractors, ensuring accurate information is communicated.
• Complete daily tasks efficiently while adapting to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
• Work closely with the security team and site personnel to ensure escorting activities are carried out safely and effectively.
• Follow all site security protocols and promptly report any concerns, risks, or incidents to the Escorting Manager.
• Maintain a vigilant and proactive approach to identifying potential threats or workplace changes.
• Undertake any other duties as required by management.

Essential criteria:

• Must have right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
• Full UK Clean Driving Licence with access to own vehicle.
• 3+ years security industry experience.
• Strong IT and report-writing skills with use of communication systems.
• A proactive team player but can work on own initiative.
• Excellent time management skills.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and respond to potential risks.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and individuals.
• A proactive and confident approach to problem-solving and incident management.
• Proficient in both speaking and written English, and the ability to convey information to a third party in a concise manner.
• Customer focused with proven customer service experience.

Desirable:

• Valid SIA license is beneficial but must be willing to undergo training to achieve this.
