Job Description
OVERVIEW: We are seeking a mid-level Data Engineer (Analytics) to be at the forefront of delivering data and analytics solutions that directly impact our clients' law enforcement mission. You'll work with dedicated team members and clients to solve analytical and technical problems that help federal law enforcement agencies keep our country safe and secure.
GENERAL DUTIES

- Gather requirements, collect data, design and create reports in response to emerging stakeholder needs
- Develop scalable, high-performance queries and analytics tools
- Communicate effectively with clients and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Respond to client requirements in tight timeframes REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Report and Dashboard Development Skills
- Strong SQL & Data Concepts Knowledge
- Relational database experience in Oracle or PostgreSQL
- ElasticSearch/OpenSearch query experience
- Experience researching, understanding, and combining disparate data sources
- Reporting and Dashboard development with Power BI and Tableau
- Understanding of data management and aggregation patterns such as data warehouse, data mart, data lake, lakehouse, data mesh
- Bachelor's degree or higher (computer science background recommended but not required with suitable experience)
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or related roles DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- AWS (S3, RDS, EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, OpenSearch/ElasticSearch)
- JSON and JSON format mediation techniques
- DevSecOps tools and techniques (Jenkins, Git)
- Familiarity with AWS managed services beyond basics (analytics and data pipeline support use cases)
- Experience working in Agile environments with iterative delivery cycles
- Experience supporting government or high-security environments is a plus CLEARANCE:
- Minimum US Citizenship required with the ability to gain a clearance
