Oracle Fusion Business Cutover Manager/Business Transition Lead

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Business Cutover Manager to lead and coordinate the business-facing activities associated with a major Oracle Cloud ERP implementation.

The successful candidate will take ownership of business cutover planning, coordination and execution, ensuring that business functions, stakeholders, processes and operational teams are fully prepared for the transition to Oracle Fusion.

This is a business-focused cutover role, not a technical cutover or data migration position.

The individual must have strong experience managing complex ERP go-lives, ideally within Oracle Fusion Cloud, and be comfortable coordinating multiple business functions and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Cutover Planning & Management

• Develop and own the end-to-end business cutover strategy, plan and execution schedule.

• Identify and coordinate all business activities required before, during and after go-live.

• Manage business cutover milestones, dependencies, risks and critical paths.

• Coordinate business readiness across Finance, Procurement, HR and other relevant functions.

• Work closely with the technical cutover manager, Programme Manager and functional leads to align business and technical activities.

Business Readiness & Stakeholder Management

• Ensure business functions are operationally prepared for the transition to Oracle Fusion.

• Engage senior stakeholders, process owners and departmental leads.

• Coordinate business readiness assessments, sign-offs and go/no-go decisions.

• Ensure business teams understand their responsibilities during the cutover period.

• Identify and resolve business risks that could impact go-live.

Operational Transition

• Coordinate business process freeze periods, transaction cut-offs and operational handovers.

• Manage business activities associated with Legacy system closure and transition to Oracle Fusion.

• Ensure critical business processes such as P2P, O2C and R2R are ready for go-live.

• Coordinate business validation activities following data migration and system deployment.

• Ensure business continuity arrangements and contingency plans are established.

Go-Live & Hypercare

• Lead business cutover command centre activities and stakeholder communications.

• Track business cutover execution against agreed plans and milestones.

• Escalate and resolve business issues affecting go-live readiness.

• Coordinate business teams during post-go-live validation and hypercare.

• Support transition into business-as-usual operations.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Cutover Manager, ERP Cutover Lead or Business Transition Manager on large-scale ERP programmes.

• Strong Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation experience, ideally with at least one full end-to-end go-live.

• Demonstrable ownership of business cutover planning and execution.

• Strong understanding of Finance and Procurement business processes.

• Experience managing business readiness, stakeholder sign-offs and go/no-go governance.

• Ability to coordinate multiple business workstreams, functional leads and operational teams.

• Experience managing complex business dependencies, operational risks and cutover rehearsals.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
