This employer is a leading distributor in the shipping, industrial, and packaging materials sector, known for its strong foundation of trust and customer relationships. They are currently seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead and develop a growing sales team with a dedicated customer-first approach. This role offers a unique hybrid work structure, combining remote workdays with valuable field experience.
The Role
• Recruit, train, develop, and manage a sales team of 8-10 representatives.
• Conduct joint sales calls with representatives and account managers, focusing on strategic accounts.
• Collaborate with national sales and training managers to implement effective sales strategies and training procedures.
• Monitor and analyze sales goals, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 10+ years of experience in Sales or Sales Management, with proven leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the territory and occasionally to other company locations.
