Job description

Brand & Social Media Specialist

B2B Marketing  | Brand & Content Marketing |  Full-time  |  5–6 years of experience

About the Role

We are looking for a brand-minded, performance-driven social media specialist who can build a stronger and more relevant B2B brand across Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X and other suitable channels. The role goes beyond managing posts and calendars: it involves translating brand strategy into compelling stories, growing the right audiences, and showing how social media activity contributes to brand visibility, engagement, consideration and trust. You will own execution as well as measurable results, working closely with internal teams and agency partners.

Key Responsibilities & Measures of Success

Build a distinctive brand presence: Turn our brand positioning into a clear, consistent social narrative across corporate, product, customer and leadership stories.
Measures: qualified brand reach, share of voice, brand mentions and brand-led traffic.

Own campaigns from idea to impact: Develop integrated social campaigns with defined audiences, messages, creative routes, distribution plans and calls to action. Optimise campaigns based on response, not just delivery.
Measures: campaigns delivered against plan, campaign engagement, video views/completions and qualified website visits.

Drive relevant audience growth: Build platform-specific plans to attract decision-makers, influencers and other relevant B2B audiences; improve discoverability and distribution.
Measures: net relevant follower/subscriber growth, audience quality, qualified reach and engagement rate.

Deliver high-performing content: Own editorial planning, creative briefs, copy quality, production, approvals and publishing with agency and internal teams. Prioritise formats and stories that perform.
Measures: on-time delivery, output against agreed content plan, engagement per asset and proportion of content meeting performance benchmarks.

Build thought leadership and advocacy: Convert leadership viewpoints, industry trends, customer stories and employee perspectives into credible, shareable content.
Measures: thought-leadership assets published, interactions from relevant audiences, earned amplification and referral traffic.

Protect brand reputation and build engagement: Lead social listening, online reputation management, response coordination and proactive participation in relevant conversations. Escalate issues with speed and judgement.
Measures: response and escalation SLA adherence, issue-resolution rate, sentiment trends and quality of engagement.

Use insights to improve performance: Own regular channel and campaign performance reviews. Compare results with targets, diagnose gaps and take corrective action. Monitor competitors and test new formats.
Measures: target achievement by channel, improvement against baseline, tests translated into improvements and effectiveness of corrective actions.

Strengthen efficiency and brand discipline: Use AI and modern content tools responsibly to improve turnaround and creative quality. Manage agencies and stakeholders while protecting brand voice, accuracy and compliance.
Measures: turnaround time, rework rate, agency delivery performance, productivity gains and brand-compliance rate.

What You Bring
  • 5–6 years of experience in social media and brand marketing, ideally in B2B technology, telecom or a similarly complex category, from a brand or agency environment.
  • A track record of owning audience, engagement or campaign-performance goals, with examples of how your work improved results.
  • Strong brand sense, creative judgement and writing skills; ability to tell business stories in clear, engaging language.
  • Working knowledge of FB, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, analytics and social-listening tools; confidence using data to recommend actions.
  • Experience with online reputation management, agency coordination, senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Practical familiarity with AI-enabled content workflows, with sound editorial judgement and a strong focus on brand quality.
What Success Looks Like

A stronger, more visible and trusted brand among the audiences that matter; sustained growth in relevant reach and engagement; brand stories that influence interest and consideration; and clear evidence that campaigns and content are meeting their intended goals. You should be comfortable being measured on outcomes, explaining results and improving performance when something is not working.
