Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Deployment Team Member to support the delivery, installation, configuration, and deployment of laptops and other technology equipment across multiple locations in Tennessee.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IT deployment, computer hardware installation, workstation setup, troubleshooting, and end-user support. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel to various deployment sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver, install, and configure computers and laptops.
- Prepare workstations, peripherals, and software for deployment.
- Install and configure computer hardware and related equipment.
- Maintain accurate equipment deployment and status records.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues onsite or remotely.
- Provide support and assistance to end users.
- Follow established safety procedures and deployment best practices.
- Maintain organized and clean deployment/storage areas.
- Collaborate effectively with deployment team members.
- Travel to multiple locations throughout Tennessee as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in IT deployment, hardware installation, desktop support, or a similar technical role.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel between multiple Tennessee locations.
- Ability to lift, push, and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Preferred
- Technical certifications are a plus.
- Experience with laptop/computer deployment and workstation configuration.
- Experience providing onsite technical support.
