Job Description

Role: Computer Deployment Technician

Estimated Duration: 09/14/2026 - 08/31/2027; highly possible for extension long-term

Location: Nashville, Tennessee, 37243

Travel: Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga & Jackson, TN

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Deployment Team Member to support the delivery, installation, configuration, and deployment of laptops and other technology equipment across multiple locations in Tennessee.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IT deployment, computer hardware installation, workstation setup, troubleshooting, and end-user support. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel to various deployment sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver, install, and configure computers and laptops.
  • Prepare workstations, peripherals, and software for deployment.
  • Install and configure computer hardware and related equipment.
  • Maintain accurate equipment deployment and status records.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues onsite or remotely.
  • Provide support and assistance to end users.
  • Follow established safety procedures and deployment best practices.
  • Maintain organized and clean deployment/storage areas.
  • Collaborate effectively with deployment team members.
  • Travel to multiple locations throughout Tennessee as required.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in IT deployment, hardware installation, desktop support, or a similar technical role.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel between multiple Tennessee locations.
  • Ability to lift, push, and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.

Preferred

  • Technical certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with laptop/computer deployment and workstation configuration.
  • Experience providing onsite technical support.
