Maven Platform Engineer
Location: Arlington, Virginia
Role Overview
This position is for a platform support and administration role focused on the Maven Smart System (MSS) environment. The role involves supporting the platform to ensure users, workflows, permissions, and deployments function correctly. This work supports a team that modernizes legacy applications through low-code/no-code development and makes them available through Army Vantage. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Key Responsibilities

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Support the Maven platform environment.
• Manage user permissions, access controls, and role-based data entitlements.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD processes for workflow pipelines, automating data and product deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues affecting data feeds, tools, and end-user applications.
• Support deployments and integrate data products into operational workflows.
• Conduct training sessions for users.
• Maintain and update data and workflow documentation as required.
• Monitor network performance and security protocols to ensure uninterrupted access.
• Ensure adherence to data standards, security requirements, and compliance policies.

Required Qualifications
Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Education: A college degree (B.S. or M.S.) in Information Assurance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline is noted. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience: A minimum of five years of related experience with an AI-powered data integration and decision support system is required. The ideal candidate will understand how to run and support a mission platform, not just analyze data.
Technical Skills:

• Demonstrated experience administering or supporting enterprise data platforms such as Palantir's Maven Smart System, Palantir Gotham, Palantir Foundry, or similar analytical environments.
• Experience in platform administration and user support.
• Competence in CI/CD pipeline operations, workflow automation, and deployment maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting data workflows, ingestion issues, performance degradation, and user-application errors.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to operate independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of data governance, security protocols, and compliance standards in government environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting technical requirements in the NGB, ARNG, ANG, or NGB Joint Staff.
• Experience on the Advana data platform.
• Experience on the Army Vantage data platform.
