They are seeking an entrepreneurial Data Scientist to join a rapidly expanding team focused on projects vital to national security. The Role • Build statistical and machine learning models, including natural language processing (NLP), to develop automated solutions for complex challenges. • Construct and execute complex SQL queries across multiple databases and utilize API interfaces for data extraction. • Perform web scraping and apply techniques for processing unstructured data. • Leverage automation and machine learning for data management, scenario prediction, and data-driven recommendations. • Proficiently use technologies such as AWS and Git. What You'll Need • Hold a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. • Possess a BS degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience, or a Masters with 6-10 years of relevant experience. • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, including experience with relational databases and APIs. • Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning, and natural language processing (NLP), including familiarity with libraries like spaCy or Hugging Face. • Solid understanding of frequentist statistics, probability, predictive modeling, computer science concepts, and data architecture. • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Plotly, Seaborn, or Matplotlib.
