Location: Leek Road, Hanley

Are you customer-focused with a passion for cars and looking to kickstart a successful career in the automotive industry?

No prior parts experience is required—we will provide full training, mentorship, and a structured apprenticeship program to help you gain a nationally recognised qualification while earning from day one.

If you are eager to learn, enthusiastic, and want to join a successful, growing dealership group that invests in its people, this is the perfect place to start your journey.

Your Role

As an Apprentice Parts Advisor, you will work alongside our experienced team to learn every aspect of the parts environment, including:

  • Customer Service: Learning to build strong relationships with trade and retail customers, offering friendly, professional support via phone, counter, and email.

  • Parts Identification & Ordering: Training on electronic catalogs and systems to accurately identify, locate, and order automotive parts and accessories.

  • Workplace Collaboration: Supporting our internal technicians and the wider aftersales team to ensure parts are delivered efficiently for vehicle repairs.

  • Stock & Inventory Control: Assisting with receiving deliveries, stock checking, organizing inventory, and processing returns.

  • Sales Support: Developing product knowledge to help maximize parts sales and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a genuine passion for the automotive industry and a desire to build a career with Holdcroft.

  • Possesses strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-first attitude.

  • Is highly organized with great attention to detail.

  • Is self-motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable using computers and new software.

  • Works well both independently and as part of a supportive team.

  • Has a minimum of GCSE grade 4/C (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.

What We Offer

  • Earn While You Learn: Competitive starting apprentice salary with regular reviews as you gain experience, plus access to uncapped performance bonuses.

  • Fully Funded Qualification: Gain a nationally recognized Level 3 qualification with dedicated study time, hands-on training, and mentor support.

  • Award-Winning Team: Learn from some of the best in the business within a supportive, high-performing environment.

  • Real Career Progression: Clear pathways to transition into a full Parts Advisor, Senior Advisor, or Management role within Holdcroft Motor Group upon completion.

  • Ongoing Development: Continuous training to ensure you succeed and grow with our business.
