About National Experiential
National Experiential helps brands and agencies turn ambitious ideas into real-world experiences that capture attention. From building-scale projections and immersive pop-ups to mobile tours, custom installations, and interactive experiences, we connect brands with audiences in memorable ways. We're growing our business development team and looking for curious, competitive, motivated people who want to build a career at the intersection of sales, advertising, and creativity.

The opportunity
As a Business Development Associate, you'll identify new clients, start conversations with brand and agency decision-makers, and develop qualified opportunities for our sales team. This is an active outbound sales position: success requires consistent prospecting, thoughtful outreach, confident phone conversations, and reliable follow-through. You'll own the early stages of the sales process, with senior sales leaders, creative talent, and production expertise behind you as opportunities move toward proposals and signed business. What you'll do
Start with a plan.

Review your HubSpot tasks, scheduled follow-ups, and outreach priorities with the team each morning. Find the right people. Research brands, advertising agencies, and media agencies that fit our capabilities, and build targeted prospect lists using tools like ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Find a reason to reach out. Track product launches, entertainment releases, sporting events, seasonal campaigns, and cultural moments where an experiential idea fits. Make outbound calls. Introduce National Experiential, ask smart questions, and work toward scheduling a qualified meeting.

Calling is a core part of this job. Write outreach that lands. Send personalized emails and LinkedIn messages built on campaign examples and ideas that make sense for each prospect. Follow up consistently. Reconnect with people who haven't responded and keep every conversation moving toward a clear next step. Qualify opportunities. Gather objectives, timing, markets, budget readiness, and decision-making details so the sales team can shape the right approach. Book qualified meetings. Arrange conversations with senior sales leaders and hand them clear background, client needs, and next steps.

Join sales conversations. Participate in discovery calls, take useful notes, and support presentations, proposals, and follow-ups as deals advance. Own your results. Keep HubSpot accurate, use AI research tools thoughtfully (and check their accuracy), and track your progress against defined goals for outreach, meetings, and pipeline. What you bring
1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, recruiting, marketing, customer service, or another customer-facing role. Candidates with transferable experience are welcome.

Confidence starting conversations and a genuine willingness to pick up the phone. Strong writing and the ability to explain an idea clearly and concisely. Curiosity about brands, advertising, entertainment, sports, and live experiences. Persistence, organization, and accountability for your follow-ups. A competitive mindset and the ability to grow from coaching and feedback. Comfort using AI tools for research and drafting, with sound judgment about accuracy and confidential information. Ability to work in person at our Long Island office.

Experience with HubSpot, ZoomInfo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus. A degree in business, marketing, or communications is helpful but not required. Training and support
You'll get direct coaching from experienced sales and experiential marketing leaders: our capabilities, campaign case studies, target clients, prospecting techniques, and sales process, plus access to professional sales technology. As you demonstrate results, you'll take on more responsibility in discovery, presentations, proposals, and account ownership.

What success looks like
You learn our offering, identify relevant prospects, and create conversations that lead to real opportunities. Your follow-ups are timely, your CRM is accurate, and your pipeline reflects qualified client needs. We value thoughtful preparation, consistent activity, teamwork, and measurable progress toward new business. Compensation, benefits, and growth
Starting At $55,000+ annual base salary, based on relevant experience and demonstrated skills. Commission under the company's written sales compensation plan.

Health, vision, and dental insurance.
401(k) retirement plan. Paid vacation time. Direct coaching, professional sales tools, and exposure to the creative and production process behind brand activations. Increased sales responsibility and account ownership earned through performance. How to apply
Submit your resume and a short introduction explaining why this opportunity interests you, including a brief answer to one question: what is one brand you would approach for an experiential campaign, and what idea would you use to start the conversation? A few thoughtful sentences are enough.

We want to understand how you think.
