Job Description

Firetrol Protection Systems, a nationally recognized leader in fire protection and life safety services since 1984, is seeking experienced Fire Sprinkler Technicians to join our team. This role involves installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair work on fire sprinkler systems to ensure the safety and protection of buildings and occupants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install fire sprinkler systems according to design specifications and company standards.
  • Inspect and maintain existing sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and perform repairs on fire protection systems as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and NFPA codes.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients.
  • Maintain a safe work environment following OSHA and company safety procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Fire Sprinkler Technician.
  • Working knowledge of wet, dry, pre-action systems, backflow devices, and fire pumps.
  • Familiarity with NFPA 13, 20, and 24 codes.
  • Ability to read fire system design drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid Fire Sprinkler Technician license (state-specific as applicable).
  • Ability to pass government, federal, and customs background checks.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Fire Sprinkler Technician.
  • Proficient with wet, dry, and pre-action sprinkler systems, backflow devices, and fire pumps.
  • Knowledgeable in NFPA 13, 20, and 24 codes.
  • Able to read and interpret fire system design drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Valid Fire Sprinkler Technician license as required by state.
  • Must pass required government and security background checks.
