SAP Data Engineer

Introduction

This position is for a hands-on SAP Data Engineer with expertise in SAP Datasphere to build and support SAP-to-cloud data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP CRM, and Microsoft Fabrics, along with knowledge of ADLS Gen2 and One Lake.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines between SAP systems and cloud storage using SAP Datasphere
• Work with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP CRM to ensure data replication flows are optimized
• Create and manage ODP, CDS Views, CDC, and Delta Loads for efficient data transfer
• Utilize DP Agent, ABAP Adapter, RFC, and Cloud Connector for seamless integration
• Implement monitoring, troubleshooting, and runbooks for system maintenance
• Document technical processes and procedures in TTO documentation
• Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity and accuracy
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in SAP data engineering

Requirements

Required Skills:

• SAP Datasphere / SAP DWC / SAP Data Intelligence
• SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and/or SAP CRM
• Replication Flows, Data Flows, and Remote Tables
• ODP, CDS Views, CDC, and Delta Loads
• DP Agent, ABAP Adapter, RFC, and Cloud Connector
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, runbooks, and TTO documentation

Preferred Skills:

• Microsoft Fabric, ADLS Gen2, OneLake, and Parquet
• Experience with SAP CRM ICWEB
