Our client is seeking a Sr Data Engineer with strong Databricks skills to join their team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, as well as optimizing data workflows for efficient data processing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines using Databricks to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs
• Optimize data workflows for performance and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
• Stay current on industry best practices and recommend new technologies and processes to improve data engineering capabilities

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer
• Strong proficiency in Databricks
• Experience designing and implementing data pipelines
• Solid understanding of data modeling and database design
• Excellent problem-solving skills
