This employer is a respected provider of enterprise infrastructure solutions for a global workforce. They are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Senior Cloud System Administrator to join a team supporting critical national defense missions. This role is instrumental in maintaining the backbone platform for enterprise users, contributing to secure and robust IT operations.

The Role

• Administer and support Windows Server 2019/2022 environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and Certificate Authorities, as well as Windows 10/11 client systems.
• Manage and troubleshoot various Linux distributions (RHEL8/9, AmazonLinux 2023) within AWS.
• Deploy and maintain robust AWS cloud environments while supporting existing on-premises server infrastructure.
• Develop and implement automation scripts using SaltStack, Ansible, Bash, and Python for streamlined infrastructure processes.
• Collaborate with development teams on auto-scaled software deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot core AWS cloud resources such as EC2, S3, VPC, and IAM.

What You'll Need

• 15+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Cloud Engineer, or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 5 years of additional experience.
• IAT II certification (e.g., Security+ or equivalent) is required.
• Proficiency in administering Linux operating systems and Windows Server 2022, including Active Directory and networking.
• Proven experience as a System Administrator or Cloud Engineer with practical cloud environment knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with AWS for infrastructure deployment, management, and troubleshooting.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
