About the End ClientThe successful candidate will support projects within a large and complex Federal Government environment focused on modern technology adoption, innovation, and the delivery of critical digital services.
Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Mobile App Developer to join an agile delivery team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications. Working within a collaborative Scrum environment, you will leverage .NET MAUI, Xamarin, and C# to deliver innovative mobile solutions across both iOS and Android platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and support cross-platform mobile applications.
- Build and maintain solutions using .NET MAUI, Xamarin.Forms, and Xamarin.Native.
- Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Contribute throughout the full mobile application lifecycle, from concept and design through to release and support.
- Work closely with stakeholders, developers, and technical teams to deliver business outcomes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of emerging mobile technologies.
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in mobile application development.
- Australian Citizenship Mandatory (Baseline Clearance Preferred)
- At least 3 years' experience working with.NET MAUI, Xamarin.Forms, and Xamarin.Native.
- Strong programming skills in C# and the.NET framework.
- Experience developing cross-platform applications for both iOS and Android.
- Solid understanding of mobile architectures, development trends, and emerging technologies.
- Eligible to obtain or currently hold an Australian Baseline Security Clearance.
- Experience working within government environments.
- Knowledge of cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices for mobile applications.
- Experience using version control tools such as Git.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
- Appreciation of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
