Network Engineer CLEARED with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a CLEARED Network Engineer to join a critical Department of Defense program. This is a full-time position located in Tysons, VA.

Essential Duties of the CLEARED Network Engineer

• Support the modernization, operation, and maintenance of secure network infrastructure and electronic security systems.
• Install, configure, maintain, and optimize network services, devices, and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex network and telecommunications issues across multiple environments.
• Support the design, implementation, and sustainment of network architectures aligned with mission requirements.
• Develop and review network design documentation, system layouts, communication plans, and technical specifications.

Qualifications of the CLEARED Network Engineer:

• 10+ years of experience as a Network Engineer.
• Strong background with Cisco routing/switching
• Experience using Visio, Wireshark, PuTTY, command-line interfaces, and other network administration tools.
• Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements, RMF, STIG implementation, and security compliance standards.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance.

Compensation for the CLEARED Network Engineer:

• $140,000 - $165,000 (based on experience)
