Netzschutztechniker / Inbetriebnahmetechniker Umspannwerke m/w/d | Landshut, Germany | Hybrid

We're hiring for a leading European provider of integrated services for energy, telecommunications, and smart city infrastructure. This dynamic organization plays a crucial role in advancing the energy transition, focusing on the development and modernization of substations in the medium, high, and extra-high voltage ranges.

The Role

  • Implement new construction and modernization projects for substations up to 380kV in southeastern Germany.
  • Commission electrical technical components and complete substation renewal and new build measures.
  • Analyze and resolve faults in protection and control systems, collaborating with internal expert teams.
  • Program and parameterize high-voltage and medium-voltage protection and field control devices from leading manufacturers.
  • Commission digital protection and control technology using modern testing equipment.
  • Contribute to projects in energy transmission and distribution, including grid connections for renewable energy parks.

What You'll Need

  • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering.
  • Proven experience and technical knowledge in protection/control technology.
  • Experience in commissioning switchgear, ideally with knowledge of communication standards (IEC 60870-5-101/103/104).
  • Familiarity with Siemens DIGSI 4/5, Schneider MICOM S1, and OMICRON TestUniverse software is advantageous.
  • Strong teamwork, decision-making, and communication skills with excellent German proficiency.
  • Possess a Class B driver's license and willingness to travel (typically Monday-Thursday).
