Job Description

Job Title: Release Train Engineer (RTE)
Location: San Leandro, CA (Locals highly preferred)
Experience: 10+ Years 

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to drive Agile Release Train (ART) execution, program-level delivery, and coordination across multiple Agile teams. The ideal candidate will have strong SAFe, Agile, program management, and stakeholder management experience.

Key Responsibilities

·      Lead and facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) activities.

·      Plan and facilitate PI Planning, PI execution, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt, and Scrum of Scrums.

·      Coordinate dependencies, risks, impediments, and cross-team issues.

·      Track program milestones, deliverables, and overall ART progress.

·      Work closely with Product Management, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Engineering, and business stakeholders.

·      Drive continuous improvement across Agile teams.

·      Maintain program-level visibility through metrics, dashboards, and status reporting.

·      Identify and escalate risks/issues impacting program delivery.

·      Ensure alignment between business objectives and Agile execution.

Required Skills

·      10+ years of Agile/Program/Project Management experience.

·      Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE).

·      Strong SAFe / Scaled Agile Framework experience.

·      Hands-on experience with PI Planning and Agile Release Train management.

·      Strong dependency, risk, issue, and impediment management.

·      Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

·      Experience working with multiple Agile/Scrum teams.

·      Strong facilitation and leadership skills.
