Job Description

Pflegefachkraft Intensivstation | Nortorf, Germany | On-site

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Intensive Care Nurse to join a leading healthcare provider in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient lives within a multidisciplinary team, backed by a strong commitment to professional development and employee well-being.

The Role

  • Provide comprehensive basic and advanced nursing care for intensive care patients, including aromatherapy.
  • Monitor patients closely and manage life-sustaining therapies such as ECMO/ECLS and CRRT.
  • Prepare, assist with, and perform post-operative care for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including bronchoscopies and tracheostomies.
  • Offer empathetic and individualized support to patients at the end of life and their families.
  • Participate proactively in emergency situations and resuscitation efforts.

What You'll Need

  • Completed education as a Health and Hospital Nurse, General Nurse, Geriatric Nurse, or Pediatric Nurse.
  • Ideal: Specialization in Anesthesia and/or Intensive Care or the willingness to pursue it.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Adaptability and a proactive approach to patient care.
