Job Description

DUTCH speaking Optimisation and Governance Senior Consultant - Remote based in the UK or in The Netherlands - 465 euros per day - duration until end of October as this is sick leave cover

Key responsibilities include:

Responsible for the high-quality delivery, governance and continuous improvement of assigned Procurement Services and Software Asset Management activities. Activities and responsibilities may include:

* Act as a primary consultant and trusted advisor for assigned clients, building strong working relationships and understanding their business priorities, procurement processes and software life cycle requirements

* Provide advanced advice and guidance for client licensing, administration, purchasing and procurement questions, using service management portals, email, telephone and client meetings as appropriate

* Coordinate and oversee service desk workflow, including ticket allocation, prioritisation, quality control, escalation management and timely resolution in line with agreed service levels

* Monitor service performance against agreed Service Levels, identify risks or trends, and proactively initiate corrective actions or service improvement activities

* Managing multiple concurrent tasks: tracking progress against deadlines and expectations, working with your colleagues to understand anomalies, overcome conflicts or issues

* Lead regular client service reviews, prepare status updates, explain operational performance and recommend practical improvements to enhance service delivery and client value

* Assist the client's procurement departments in the management of contracts

* Keep track of maintenance and support renewals and ensure these are managed and processed prior to their expiration date

* Identify, validate and present cost saving, cost avoidance and optimisation opportunities related to renewals, software license purchases, contracts and services

* Deliver projects or workstreams as a consultant, taking ownership of defined deliverables, timelines, stakeholder communication, risks and quality assurance

* Build and maintain strong relationships with SLS Consultants, Local Account Sales Teams, vendors and client stakeholders, supporting collaboration across commercial, operational and technical teams

Skills/knowledge/Experience required:

* Typically 3+ years of relevant experience in Software Procurement Services, Software Asset Management, IT service delivery, licensing operations, sales operations or a comparable client-facing consulting environment

* Strong business acumen with the ability to understand client objectives, identify commercial impact and translate operational insights into practical recommendations

* Confident user of Microsoft 365 applications, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams, with the ability to prepare clear analysis, reports and client-facing materials

* Solid understanding of software licensing, procurement processes, contract life cycle management, service management principles and Software Asset Management concepts

* Experience working with enterprise clients, managing expectations, handling escalations and communicating confidently with operational, commercial and senior stakeholders

* High level of written and spoken English next to Dutch language

* Structured, process-driven and analytical approach, with the ability to investigate complex issues, identify root causes and propose sustainable improvements

* Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work independently, lead by example and support colleagues across multi-country or Matrix teams

* Strong service and commercial orientation, with a clear focus on client value, service quality, operational efficiency and measurable outcomes
