Dura-Line is hiring for a Maintenance Manager in Elyria, Ohio (Garden Street Location)

As a Maintenance Manager, you will transform workplace environments by leading maintenance operations across your site and developing the next generation of maintenance leaders. In this critical role, you are responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance department and ensuring that manufacturing facilities are fully operational. This individual will need to ensure all maintenance equipment issues are identified and repaired in a safe, regulatory, and timely manner. You will be communicating with cross functional teams to enhance efficiency so will need strong communication skills and excellent organization and problem solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages equipment installs & commissioning

  • Manages Preventative Maintenance program with standardization & site critical spare parts management using an equipment condition assessment program

  • Conducts equipment FMEAs and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations as required

  • Implements and manages site CMMS aligned with company expectations

  • Manages and trains all department team members to establish, implement, and maintain suitable programs.

  • Oversee and participate in all daily maintenance functions such as project planning for materials, preventative maintenance, breakdowns and repairs; coordinates all electrical, machining and tooling requirements, develops and fabricates new equipment and tooling; upkeep of facility grounds, equipment and tools

  • Selects and develops local vendors & relationships for third party, external support

  • Partners with other plant departments to ensure priority is given to the safe and efficient operation of equipment and machinery.

  • Reviews Maintenance KPIs: Safety, Site Startup Timeline & Spend Metrics, Departmental Spend, Uptime, PM Adoption Metrics by Site

Requirements:

  • HS diploma or equivalent. Engineering BA/BS degree desired (preferably mechanical or electrical engineering) or equivalent 5 plus years work experience

  • Oversee and participate in all daily maintenance functions such as project planning for materials, preventative maintenance, breakdowns and repairs; coordinates all electrical, machining and tooling requirements, develops and fabricates new equipment and tooling; upkeep of facility grounds, equipment and tools

  • Extensive experience with established, formal preventative maintenance program, including work order process, metrics dashboard. Predictive maintenance (PM) and autonomous care programs are a plus.

  • Experience utilizing CMMS platforms to manage PM program, asset documentation and work order records, analysis of maintenance performance.

  • Experience in local/national facilities & regulatory requirements

  • Standing for prolonged periods (8-12 hours), sitting and working on a computer

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds

  • Must be able to work in variable weather conditions and in an environment with many noises

  • Comfortable wearing appropriate PPE while in production and warehouse areas.

Our Offer:

The compensation for this position is typically range from $112,000-$140,000/year.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
