Security Operations & Threat Hunting Engineer

Ryder System is seeking a Security Operations & Threat Hunting Engineer to safeguard our logistics and transportation platforms. Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events across Ryder's transportation and warehousing environments
• Perform proactive threat hunting to detect advanced and emerging threats
• Investigate security incidents, contain threats, and support remediation efforts
• Develop and tune SIEM rules, alerts, and playbooks for greater detection accuracy
• Collaborate with IT, operations, and engineering to harden systems and networks
• Conduct malware, endpoint, and network forensic analysis as needed
• Document findings, create incident reports, and present risk recommendations
• Support security tool optimization and integration across cloud and on prem systems
• Contribute to security metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Stay current on threat intelligence and apply it to Ryder's risk posture
