Commonwealth Medical Services is seeking a knowledgeable Hematology Oncology Physician MD/DO to join our dedicated team in Central Valley, California. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations and manage treatment for patients with blood disorders and cancers.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, including chemotherapy and other therapeutic modalities.
- Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret results to guide clinical decision-making.
- Educate patients and families about their condition, treatment options, and the importance of follow-up care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient support and care.
- Engage in research initiatives and continuing education to remain current on best practices in hematology and oncology.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and clinical outcomes.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Current and unrestricted medical license to practice in California.
- Board certified or board eligible in Hematology and Oncology.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in treating hematologic malignancies and solid tumors.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
