Job Description

Our client is a leading develper of Software for the Finance and Investment Banking Industry.

Increased growth has led to the opening of a new role for a Software Developer (C++/Javascript) to join the Milton Keynes based operation.

Job Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to gain finance and investment banking business domain knowledge or advance their career in web application development.

Candidate Criteria:

* Graduate level education
* 3+ years commercial development experience in C++ and JavaScript within either Windows or Unix environments
* A proven track record of developing robust products
* Demonstrable experience of delivering high quality software solutions in line with business needs and timescales
* Ability to write maintainable, testable, high performing software
* Understanding of software best practices, design principles & patterns
* Knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server or Sybase
Desirable
* Experience using a JavaScript framework such as Sencha Ext-JS
