Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Translate functional and program requirements into technical designs and develop Java/J2EE applications supporting eligibility, enrollment, renewals, case management, and related workflows.
2. Develop and maintain application components, business processes, batch services, APIs, and integrations within enterprise application environments.
3. Design and validate data exchanges, mappings, business rules, error handling, and integration flows using REST services and related technologies.
4. Create and execute unit and integration tests, troubleshoot application and environment issues, document technical solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC.
    

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education	Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience	4–6 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE enterprise application development, with experience in software design, integration, testing, and production support; 6–8 years preferred.
Technical Skills	Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Hibernate, REST/SOAP Web Services, JavaScript & Web UI Technologies, Relational Databases, Enterprise Application Servers
Business / Domain Skills	Integrated Eligibility Systems, Eligibility Determination, Case Management, Benefits Administration, Government Health & Human Services, Business Rules & Policy Implementation
Communication	Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation	Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization	Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with integrated eligibility platforms supporting Medicaid or comparable government benefit programs.
2. Strong understanding of eligibility and case management workflows, policy-driven business rules, data mapping, and state/federal program requirements.
