Service Alarm Technician | Queens, NY, United States | On-site

They are currently seeking a dedicated Service Alarm Technician to join their dynamic team.
The Role
- Respond to trouble tickets to ensure application uptime and system performance.
- Diagnose and resolve application and system issues individually and as part of a team.
- Execute preventative maintenance tasks for system fault identification and to maximize application availability.
- Perform routine configuration changes, including user permissions and application settings.
- Document all system modifications using a digital change control tracking system.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
What You'll Need
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
- Strong knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion, and fire alarm systems.
- Experience with commercial fire alarm systems (e.g., Bosch, Silent Knight preferred; Simplex, Notifier, Edwards, Siemens a plus).
- NICET certification or State Fire License is preferred.
- ESA Certified Alarm Technician and NTS Certified Service Technician certifications are preferred.
- Working knowledge of network communications and IP addressing.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.
