Requirement for Network Security Engineer
Location: Albany, NY (onsite)
Duration: Long-term
*** Only Locals ***
Responsibilities:
- Gather network security requirements
- Architect and design Network and Network Security solutions
- Architect and design Juniper firewalls and IDP/IPS
- Configure/implement/upgrade Juniper firewalls and IDP/IPS
- Configure firewall policies on Juniper and optimize firewall rules
- Configure Cisco Network switches and routers
- Configure dynamic protocols, to include RIP, OSPF, and BGP
Requirements:
- Must have 9+ years of experience designing and implementing Juniper or other firewalls. Experience with Juniper is preferred.
- Must have 2+ years of experience configuring and supporting Cisco network switches and routers
- Must have experience gathering security requirements and designing network security
- Must have experience defining and configuring firewall policies
- Must have experience optimizing firewall rules
- Must have experience configuring dynamic protocols RIP, OSPF, and BGP
- Must have excellent understanding of security architecture and integration
- Must be proficient in Visio diagramming and design documentation
