Quick Overview
Job Description
Step into a typical day where you'll open the lab, check tools and training rigs, and greet a room full of motivated learners-some headed for electrical careers, others gearing up for HVACR. You'll kick off with a short briefing on the day's objectives, then move straight into hands-on labs: conduit bending for the electrical cohort, refrigerant cycle diagnostics for HVACR learners. After lunch, you'll review safety procedures, debrief lab findings, and collaborate with academic staff to refine upcoming modules. You'll wrap the day mentoring a few students on capstone projects before heading home-with your weekends completely free.
What You'll Do- Create an inclusive, engaging classroom where aspiring technicians build confidence and core competencies in electrical or HVACR systems.
- Lead immersive, real-world labs that teach diagnosis, maintenance, and repair across commercial, residential, and industrial settings.
- Collaborate with curriculum teams to enhance courses and introduce content that reflects industry advancements.
- Coach students on individual projects, encouraging critical thinking and inventive problem-solving.
- Champion safety by modeling best practices and enforcing lab procedures at all times.

- Tuition waiver after 6 months for you and your immediate family at UTI and Concorde campuses
- Paid time off programs (Vacation, Sick, Flexible, Holiday)
- Retirement matching: 50% match on the first 6% of your contributions after 90 days
- Paid parental leave: 4 weeks for both birthing and non-birthing parents

- Health plan enrollment eligibility begins the first of the month following completion of one full month of employment

- Technical mastery for the electrical track: power distribution, branch circuit wiring, conduit bending, lighting layouts, service panel upgrades, load calculations, and troubleshooting for single-phase and multi-phase commercial systems
