Job Description
Role: SAP FICO
Location: San Jose, CA
Experience: 10+ years
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO)
- Own core finance processes including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Product Costing
- Partner with business stakeholders to define future-state financial processes aligned with SAP best practices
- Drive fit-to-standard workshops, requirement validation, and solution design decisions
- Ensure seamless integration between FICO and other modules (MM, PP, SD, WM, Quality)
- Work closely with implementation partners (Reply) to guide configuration, testing, and deployment
- Lead financial data migration strategy, validation, and reconciliation
- Support testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and ensure finance readiness for go-live
- Identify risks, gaps, and process inefficiencies and drive resolution
- Act as the primary point of accountability for finance during go-live and stabilization
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and cross-functional stakeholders

- Strong integration between finance, operations, and supply chain
- Clean, accurate financial data migration and reporting readiness at go-live
- High engagement and alignment from finance stakeholders throughout the program
- On-time, high-quality delivery through testing, go-live, and stabilization
Requirements
- 8+ years of SAP FICO experience, including multiple full-cycle implementations
- Proven experience leading FICO in an SAP S/4HANA implementation (Public Cloud preferred)
- Strong hands-on experience with configuration and solution design (not just advisory)
- Deep understanding of core finance processes (GL, AP, AR, Costing, Fixed Assets)
- Experience integrating FICO with manufacturing and supply chain modules
- Background in manufacturing or food & beverage environments strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead workshops, influence stakeholders, and drive decisions
- Experience working with external implementation partners and managing deliverables
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in food & beverage, dairy, or beverage CPG manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with co-manufacturing or co-packing business models
- Experience supporting finance in complex, high-volume manufacturing operations
- Exposure to regulated environments (FDA, quality, traceability)
- Understanding of product costing in process manufacturing environments
