The role

We are looking for an experienced Senior International Tax Manager to join our clients global tax team and play a key role in supporting the Group Deputy Head of Tax across a complex, fast-growing international business.

This is a high-impact role with responsibility for international tax, transfer pricing, tax planning and controversy across 40+ countries spanning Europe, the Americas, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, India, China and Hong Kong.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, regional finance teams, external advisors and business leaders, providing pragmatic, commercially focused tax advice while helping shape the Group's international tax strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance to regional teams on international tax and transfer pricing matters.
  • Partner with leading external tax advisors across multiple jurisdictions to develop and implement commercially effective tax solutions.
  • Lead and support non-UK tax audits, tax authority enquiries, ruling negotiations and transfer pricing audit defence.
  • Own and enhance the Group's transfer pricing framework and documentation, including Master Files and Local Files.
  • Support international tax planning, including cash repatriation, funding structures, tax-efficient initiatives and acquisition integrations.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities from compliance and reporting data and translate them into practical business initiatives.
  • Support M&A activity, post-acquisition integrations, restructurings and legal entity simplification.
  • Monitor changes in international tax legislation and assess their impact on the Group, ensuring timely implementation of required actions.
  • Document and communicate the tax implications of transactions to support accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to regional finance teams and central functions, providing clear, commercially minded and practical guidance.
  • Share ownership of the Group's Pillar Two technical positions and review material treasury transactions from a tax control perspective.
  • Keep stakeholders across the organisation informed of key international tax and transfer pricing developments through clear communication and education.
About you.

We're looking for a technically strong international tax professional who combines deep tax expertise with a commercial mindset and the confidence to operate in a complex, multinational environment.

You will ideally bring:
  • A relevant Chartered Tax Adviser or Chartered Accountant qualification, or equivalent professional tax training.
  • A degree or equivalent academic qualification.
  • Big Four training with strong post-qualification experience, ideally complemented by significant in-house experience within a global organisation.
  • Strong experience across international tax, tax structuring, M&A and tax controversy.
  • Proven experience developing, managing and improving global tax and transfer pricing strategies, policies and documentation.
  • Strong transfer pricing expertise across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Experience working in a private equity-backed or similarly fast-paced, complex environment, with the ability to navigate changing structures and priorities.
  • A track record of operating successfully in high-growth organisations, building scalable processes and delivering tangible results.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to explain complex tax issues clearly to both tax and non-tax audiences.
