MMIS Business Analyst - F2F - Quincy ( Massachusetts )

Job Description -

We are seeking for the MMIS Business Analyst for our direct client located at Quincy, MA/Hybrid.

Local Only from MA, NH or RI and must have recent client experience from these locations

Title: MMIS Business Analyst

Location: Quincy, MA/Hybrid

Duration: 6 12 Months with a possible extension

In-Person Interview

Hybrid 2 days onsite every week

37.5 Hours work week paid (30 mins break hours not paid)

Detailed list of Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Lead and participate in joint application design session with stakeholders
2. Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodology a plus
3. Develop test strategies, test scenarios and test cases based on written requirements
4. Execute and review test runs and sign off on testing components
5. Document requirements and participate in their development and testing
6. Support the development of end-user training materials and end-user documentation as required.
7. Possible oversight role during the stabilization phase of each release including the monitoring of system change execution, the development of system fix strategies and the close monitoring of the implementation of those strategies
8. Work with vendors to ensure business requirements are fully defined and tested.
9. Communicate updates and changes to impacted stakeholders
10. Represent MMIS in business meetings as needed
11. Support program staff, vendors, and other stakeholder with MMIS related questions or concerns.
12. Provide back up to other business analysts as needed.
13. Data query and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Proficient in business analysis to support all stages of system project lifecycle
2. Competency in HIPAA claims and payment transaction processing
3. Strong data analysis skills- SQL proficient
4. Excellent communication and documentation skill
5. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with project managers, developers, business analysts, systems analysts, SQA analysts, business users/stakeholders, and data processing personnel; as well as interact with representatives from external agencies and companies.
6. Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as within project teams, providing relevant system analysis services.
7. Highly analytical, with the ability to independently analyze, document findings and recommend solutions.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor s degree or higher in Business, IT or Healthcare administration with minimum 3 years experience, or equivalent in healthcare administration setting
