Job Description

Marvin is seeking a Director of Benefits to lead the strategy, design, and administration of employee benefits across our manufacturing and corporate locations. This role will oversee health, welfare, retirement, and wellness programs, ensuring they are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with our people-first culture. The Director will manage vendor relationships, drive compliance with ERISA, ACA, and other regulations, and use data to evaluate program performance. Partnering closely with HR, finance, and business leaders, this role will enhance employee experience, support talent attraction and retention, and lead a small, high-performing benefits team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy, design, and administration of health, welfare, retirement, and wellness programs
  • Evaluate and enhance benefit offerings to support attraction, retention, and employee well-being
  • Manage vendor selection, contracts, and performance for all benefits providers
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and other federal and state regulations
  • Oversee benefits budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis with finance partners
  • Leverage data and analytics to assess program effectiveness and recommend improvements
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to align benefits with workforce needs and culture
  • Direct benefits communications, education, and open enrollment processes
  • Manage and develop a high-performing benefits team
  • Drive continuous improvement and best practices in benefits operations and processes
