Vendor Qualification Associate I - Hybrid

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Vendor Qualification Associate I - Hybrid for a contract position with a Biopharmaceutical Company located in Foster City, CA. This is a contract opportunity with the possibility of extension.

This role will report to the Director of Vendor Outsourcing and will be responsible for ensuring a high quality of data and services across all vendors supporting the client's global R&D portfolio for Ph I-IV clinical trials. The ideal candidate will lead and support cross-functional efforts involving vendor capability assessments, sourcing, contracting, and inspection readiness. This position requires onsite work 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Request for Information (RFI), Data Privacy and Security IT Assessments
• Perform Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Due Diligence and Financial Health Assessments
• Lead Inspection Readiness Preparation Activities
• Conduct data analyses and benchmarking to provide data-informed insights into strategies and continuous improvement initiatives
• Deliver presentations and trainings to internal stakeholders and external vendors

Requirements:

• BS or BA with 5 years of relevant experience
• 10+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry
• PMP certification or equivalent certification
• Deep understanding of vendor capability assessments, sourcing, contracting, procurement, category management, and inspection readiness activities
• Understanding of various clinical trial activities such as clinical monitoring, data management, RWD/RWE, biostatistics, medical writing, central lab, biomarker lab, bioanalytical lab, RTSM, eCOA, and medical imaging
• Thorough knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (Google Cloud Platform), Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Documentation Practice (GDP), and ICH E6 R2 compliance requirements
• Thorough understanding of current global and regional trends in compliance
• Executive presence, excellent communication skills, project management, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities effectively and proficiently under minimal supervision

Pay range: up to $45.34 per hour
