Full Stack Developer

Our client is a Scale Up in the Leisure industry and due to expansion they are looking for 2 new developers to join their current team of 2 to play a key part in building the next generation of their platform working from initial design, to production and deployment. Their office is in Oxford but they are happy for you to work remote and come to the office 3 days a month.

Description

• Develop and maintain both Front End and Back End components of applications.
• Use of AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code, to help automate repetitive tasks, explore ideas more quickly and increase engineering productivity.
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement new features.
• Ensure code quality by conducting regular testing and debugging.
• Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
• Integrate third-party APIs and tools as needed.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all code and systems.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Profile

Must haves:

• TypeScript
• Node.js
• React
• AI coding tools experience - ie Claude Code
• Self starter and able to work on projects without micromanagement
• Degree in Computer Science or related subject

Nice to haves:

• NestJS
• AWS
• Next.js
• Experience working in a start up/scale up
• Android/Kotlin development
