MLD Teacher | Sheffield, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We're hiring for a leading national education support provider with a strong reputation for transforming the lives of young people with SEND and SEMH needs. We are seeking dedicated and passionate educators to join our impact-driven community and help us raise the standard of education for vulnerable learners.

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 - KS5 (as appropriate) with planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Work with schools and local authorities to support disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners.
• Contribute to a mission of reimagining the support for vulnerable young people.
• Plan and report for lessons, providing regular feedback on student progress.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and two professional references.
• Based in the UK with the right to work.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
